Stripe, PayPal and the 0% transaction fee

On systeme.io, Stripe and PayPal are the payment processors, and both are on all four plans, the Free plan included. The pricing page lists the transaction fee as 0% on every plan. Stripe handles subscriptions in all 46 of its currencies and PayPal lists 25, US dollars among them in both.

The systeme.io pricing page says payments through Stripe or PayPal cost nothing extra, while its courses page says you keep revenue minus payment processor fees, so budget for Stripe or PayPal card processing even though systeme.io takes no transaction fee.

No systeme.io page read for this guide gives the Stripe or PayPal rate: the processor sets it.

Stripe and PayPal can be connected on the systeme.io free plan too, with the same 0% transaction fee.

Switching payments on in a funnel

Payments are switched on per funnel: open the funnel, click Funnel settings and tick Credit card or debit card, the PayPal box, or both. The help center has an article on connecting each account first.

The order form is where the buyer pays. It asks whether you sell a digital or a physical product, which resources the buyer gets after paying, and a price plan: a one-time payment, a subscription or a payment plan with a set number of payments.

Stripe does not allow a test purchase, so the help center's way to check a funnel is to buy from it yourself and refund the amount from your systeme.io account; a test purchase may incur additional fees.

Refunds, order bumps and upsells

Refunds are made from the Transactions page, partial refunds are not supported, and whether a refund is available depends on the payment gateway.

An order bump, the small checkbox offer on the order form, is charged as a separate transaction from the main offer, and the payment window may show only the main price. An accepted upsell is also charged as its own transaction, so the buyer sees one charge per product rather than a single total.

Each price plan has a tax behavior setting, but the help pages read for this guide describe VAT only, not how US sales tax is worked out, so check how sales tax applies to you before you sell.

What changes from plan to plan

Stripe, PayPal and the 0% transaction fee are on every plan; what changes is the count of extras. Order bumps and 1-click upsells run 1, 10, 100 and Unlimited across Free, Startup, Webinar and Unlimited, and coupon codes 1, 10, 50 and Unlimited. As read on October 6, 2026, Startup is $17 a month, billed monthly, and Webinar $47 a month, billed monthly.

A free account also has a lifetime sales cap set in the terms, after which its payment pages stop taking new sales until it moves to a paid plan; the figure is on systeme.io free plan. Every plan is priced on systeme.io pricing.
