Monthly prices and transaction fees

A transaction fee is the platform's own cut of each sale. Skool takes 10% on Hobby, $9 a month, and 2.9% on Pro, $99 a month, both billed monthly. The systeme.io plans take 0%: Free, Startup at $17, Webinar at $47 and Unlimited at $97 a month, billed monthly.

Card processing from Stripe or PayPal is charged separately on systeme.io, so a 0% transaction fee is not a 0% cost. Skool prints only per-month figures for yearly billing and no yearly total, so only monthly prices are compared here.

Community features and members

A community on systeme.io is a private or public discussion space inside the account: 1 on Free, 5 on Startup and 20 on Webinar, with unlimited members. It covers topics, posts, comments, file uploads, scheduled posts and post approval.

A private community admits only invited members, and a public one admits anyone who signs up. The vendor says there is no per-member fee, and that it does not yet offer a branded mobile app.

Skool describes itself as a community platform and includes unlimited members, courses, videos and live calls on both plans.

Courses, funnels and email around the community

On systeme.io the community shares an account with a funnel builder, checkout and email sequences. A sale can grant community access and a tag to the buyer, and an automation rule can start an email sequence from that tag.

The Free plan includes 1 course and Startup 5, and email sends are unlimited on every plan. Skool's pricing page also lists a custom URL and affiliates on both plans.

The systeme.io free plan includes one community with unlimited members, so a group can be tested before any payment. Paid access sold on the Free plan counts toward the $10,000 lifetime sales cap in the terms.

Selling access and moving members

On systeme.io, access is sold through a funnel, once or by subscription, and is granted on purchase and removed when the buyer cancels. An existing Facebook group moves as an audience, not as posts.

Skool is not among the platforms named on the free migration page, which lists ClickFunnels, Kajabi, Teachable, Kartra, Podia and others. For an unlisted platform, the page says to contact support before signing up. Free migration is included only with the Unlimited monthly plan or any annual plan, and it is done by hand.

Pick Skool for a community built around unlimited live calls at $9 a month, billed monthly. Pick systeme.io for a community plus funnels and email at a 0% transaction fee. Coaches who sell programs should read best software for online coaches, and course-led sellers systeme.io vs Kajabi. The systeme.io free plan shows what one community covers.
